Went for a nice ride around the tourist areas last night. Couple of HD's pull up next to me at the light before this one I give a wave, they flip me off. Whatever floats your goat I guess.... The next light Mr. 1% bad ass (Destralos is an off shoot of the Banditos) stalls his bike. I admit I chuckled a bit too much about it the rest of my ride. He proceeded to lane split (illegally) at the next light while revving the engine a whole lot to re-secure his manhood (roll eyes)

This is when you wish you had the skills to pull a massive 100 yard wheelie, leaving them gaping in awe. ;)

Kolob Canyon, part of Zion National Park.
Technically... You can't get there from the main park. Some beautiful spots in Kolob canyon though. Kolob reservoir is worth a trip too, but that's accessed off Hwy 9 just near Virgin unless you want to ride more dirt. Fun on a good day. Pavement from Virgin.

I think so too, that you are fortunate with your property:) (maybe not luck;))
Maybe a bit of luck. My Grampy, passed it on to my Dad, first of ten children, who then passed it on directly to me. It is 100 acres, with frontage on that river of 1700 feet, both sides. About 300 feet behind the cameraman, another similar sized river joins this one at a 90 degree angle, doubling its size, separating the property in three pieces, I even have a river ford trail.

The only reason I ended up with is is I'm the oldest of the grandchildren, live on the property where it meets the main road, and made a promise to my Grandfather before he passed away that this would be the last of my possessions I'd ever sell, a promise I intend on keeping...

I'm happy you're going to keep that promise. There are a few ungrateful relatives I don't speak to anymore because they sold heirlooms that my grandfather passed on to them. One even tried to steal a rifle he passed to my mother. Apparently I'm the bad one for calling him a theif and pointing out that he broke one of only ten hard rules that God laid out.

Dills Corner Deli in Pa just out of New Hope on Rt32.

Had an amazing ride today with a good friend. Went to Sandy Hook, NJ and was checking out some of the old ruins of Fort Hancock. Great place to visit if you're ever in the area.

Looking down to a a part of Sandy Hook from a scenic overlook in the Atlantic Highlands. New York city is off to the left. A little.

Hope you all had a great weekend and have a great ride. Tom

Not to derail this thread, but I'm going to anyway and since we are speaking on the Diavel, it is an angry bike. Haha. I've been privileged to have friends that let me take their bikes for multiple rides and easily a few hundred miles at a clip. Did I mention the Diavel is an angry bike. Lol. Yes, it can be ridden at 'drive through town speeds,' but you can feel, it hates it. If the Diavel could speak to me when I'm riding it, it would call me the biggest 80s porn star p@##/ and kick me off. I've twisted the throttle on it pretty hard but 15 seconds later and 2 upshifts, I'm done. And i haven't even hit it's redline!! My eyes are buried in the back of my helmet. My arms grew 2 inches. My sphincter clenching to the seat material and my brain is telling me to slow down after seeing triple digits in that short amount of time. If anyone gets a chance to demo one, i highly recommend it. For me it could only be a 2nd bike cuz it's to high strung and I am not. Thanks for listening to my drivel even though you didn't ask for it. Enjoy the day everyone
