Last week I decided to pay another visit to Westphalia, I went last autumn and loved the place. A first night stop at Saint Quentine then through the Ardennes.
This is parked at the cross roads at Manhay, Belgium.

That is pretty wild to see an intact and somewhat exterior maintained German Panzer V / Panther G just parked outside on the side of the rode like that. According to the unit symbol below the machine gun ball mount on the front armor slope this Panther was attached to the 2nd SS Panzer unit of the notorious "Das Reich" Division. I wonder how many Allied Shermans this particular Panther took out during the battles in the Ardennes?
**Yes, I am a wee bit of a tank/armor nut.

Went on a good ride to test out the new tires. I am impressed with the tires and the ability of this bike. I would rate this trail a 7.5 on a scale of 1-10 for a big adventure bike.

I came into a corner too hot and blew the corner because of the abs. Flipped my abs switch to off. I do not like the abs off road. It is great on pavement, not so much on the trails. I have much better control on my own. KIMG0011.JPGKIMG0003.JPGKIMG0004.JPG

Yesterday ( 7/14/19) I had another fantastic ride with my brother. I surprised and bought him a 1997 Honda Valkyrie as a present this past Christmas. (Story later if there's any interest). It's an amazing experience to ride with him again after almost a 20 year lapse. We try and get a few hours in every couple of Sunday mornings. We rode to the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery. As well as paying our respects and honoring those that gave everything so we can be here, we rode through the area with any souls that wanted to get out and meander along with us. It's a beautiful, extremely well kept cemetery if anyone wants to visit.

We took a scenic loop around the area and then, unfortunately, had to return home.
I'm the bum on the left.

One more picture of some Heavy Metal before I got into my driveway.

Thank you and enjoy your ride.

I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide.
(sorry I don't know how to put the pix on the right way.)

Mt Evans today, some mt goats.
The puddle and the 60 foot tall sculpture were actually yesterday's ride.
How do you like the givi fuel bottles? I've been thinking of getting a pair of them as well.

To post pictures in the thread on the top row above where you type, see the smile face? The one to the left of that is the image insert thing. Click on that, and just pick the files from your computer you want to show. Rather than clicking the attach file at the bottom that just puts them as links.

I really like having extra fuel and have used them a bunch of times both for me and others. That's the only kind I've had so I can't say how they stack up against others. They are quite sturdy.

Thanks for the photo advice.... :)

Had a ball, riding around some trails No Far from home. The trekRiders are much better for holding a line then the Stock Trailwings. They were down right scary in light sand. These move a little when you enter it then Bite and hold a solid line.
Fun easy dirt...

Started vacation from central NJ yesterday and wound up in Front Royal, Va. Took pictures and purchased our park pass for Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway later today. More pictures to follow in the next few days as we head down to Little Switzerland, NC. Hope you all don't get sick of me by the end of the week. Lol. Have a great ride everyone.
