Went for a good ride today, passed the beach at a Bear Lake. Standing room only. So much for social distancing. No thanks.
Had a great burger in Soda Springs. Great Independence Day ride.
Rode by there 2 weeks ago today. Parking looked full and beach totally packed.

Was a nice ride between 84 and 80 but wished I could have not ridden it on a weekend.

While I say we can ride year round here..... 108F (42c) at 10:30 PM is a little rough.

C'mon, that's when it's time to take the thermal liner out of your jacket! When I did that road that I crashed on, it was 108 when I went out there at 5pm,and cooled down to 104 by dark. Downright arctic

Montana, with some other ADV riders. Riding the last remaining tread on the E07. You look at it and think it’s done. Nope 1000 more miles and it doesn’t look to have worn any. 110 miles of downpour home today. View attachment 68588View attachment 68589
So what's your final mileage going to be on that tire?

Just when I thought I had all the 1000's of tire posts that have to do with mileage on "ignore". LOLo_O:eek:

It’s got somewhere around 12k on it now. I put 280 miles on it yesterday and it feels great on the pavement. It surprises me how well it felt on the 30 miles of gravel, although the gravel was super easy.
Compared to the knobbies I’ve run, Kenda Big block, Bridgestone AX41. it has much better traction when worn.
If I had any long trips planned it would get swapped out. Unfortunately July is most likely going to be local rides for me. So I’m leaving it on. I think it has a good 2000 miles left, on pavement. ADD1ED4C-41F7-45D4-91E7-6C3E0BE674BF.jpeg

I got 10,000 miles out of my E-07 dakar. Put on the E-07 plus and it is about to come off at wear bars 7000 miles. Luck I found E-07 dakar on e-bay.

Message me next time you’re headed up to Newcomb’s if you’re inclined. I live at the bottom of the hill.
