350 mile trip today. Loveland, Vail & Tennessee passes are open (of course). Hagerman and Westin are not open - got stopped by snow on both this morning from the Leadville side. The 4x4's weren't even trying to go thru the drifts on Westin. Webster , at least from looking at it from the south east on Fremont pass, looks like another few weeks or longer. before it can be topped. I didn't bother going up that road to check it out.

238 mile loop today with my brother and 3 other friends. We attempted to go to Bear Mountain NY through 7 Lakes Drive. It is an amazing stretch of road. Everything went well until the exit for Bear Mountain. People are definitely not staying home with limited things being open. I understand peeps wanting to get out after being stuck in for so long. Roads were so empty 3 weeks ago. Oh well. I'm glad I took advantage of it while it lasted.

This was a few weeks back in the Texas hill country when the wildflowers were still blooming. Did a few hundred miles with some friends and visited "Dead Man's Hole" on our way to some tasty brick oven pizza and a stop by a historic cabin. Good day out before the summer heat began creeping in.

Is that that Russian monster? The Antonov AN-225. I didn't think they were flying them anymore. Obviously, if that was yesterday, I was misinformed. :) Cool picture.

Not sure how many are flying, but I read an article one of them just came out of maintenance and upgrade that took several years.

Actually there’s only one ever built, nickname “Mrya”. There’s a second frame but it was never completed.

EDIT: it’s Mriya

The buildings built by the early peoples I've seen were of much better stacked stone. Probably some wannabe rancher or prospector what with an actual chimney and all.
