I rode for a couple hours late this afternoon, primarily on gravel, dirt, muddy roads, and some very fresh thick gravel over mud. Was great practice for me since I'm a noob off pavement on this size bike. I'd have blown through it like crap through a goose on my old Kaw Bighorn 350, but that was 40 years ago. Did some dabbing in one gnarly area (eemsreno would probably have ripped through there standing on his head on the seat with no hands, without a bobble).
Was headed in the general direction of a local landmark I hoped I'd stumble across, and I did. The old Salisbury School, a one-room schoolhouse built in 1930, in western Adair County, MO.
You're supposed to write your name on the blackboard when you go in, but I couldn't find any chalk.
