Camped at the Pozo saloon for the Iron & Resin Hooligan Hoedown. Fun overnight camp with hundreds of other bikers (mostly hipsters, but it was still fun lol). 400 miles round trip. Nice easy weekend.

Work trip took me past this place. I've taken a similar photo of previous bikes but this time they were open and I could see the museum which was pretty cool.

Imogene Pass outside Ouray Colorado. As a result did a bit of damage to the new Givi Side case. Sure wish they made crash bars for the side cases. The Alt Rider crash bars did their job and only came out with a small scratch. Its all good though.

I was back on the bike for this first time in over a month yesterday (just got back from a 4-week job in Peru on Saturday), but all I did was ride to work when I couldn't get the truck to start :(

I hope you went a little north of Mexican Hat and caught Valley Of The Gods Road, a little BLM road that the S10 was made for.
If not, be sure to check it out next time. Compared to the fully loaded sport touring bike I took last time I was thru, I'm pretty sure the S10 would be a delight:

Joe Brown Highway, Tatham Gap Road, and a few other great spots in the Smokies. No photo since the upload only gets me error messages

Valley of the Gods road was great, so I hope you caught it as well. If you run it from the southern end, it drops you off right by the turn off for the Moki Dugway as well.

Last Tuesday I rode up to Trinity Center CA to meet a new motorcycle friend, Allen. We rode this area for three days. Fulfilled some of my 'To Do Roads' and they were not a disappointment. Allen had to fly back to Oregon and I was going to ride for two or three more days but I ran out of rear tire (7,435 miles). Returned to Sacramento on Friday and got new tires on Saturday.

CA-36, Wildwood Rd, CA-3 south, CA-3 north, Sawyers Bar Rd (east end), Trinity Dam Blvd, Rush Creek Rd, CA-299 twisties, repeated a very fun route to a very boring I-5.

Rode 101 river road miles to break-in the Battlax A40's.

Looking for somewhere to ride.

New set of tires for the Tenere so decided to take advantage of the rain we just got to hit up the river trails. Sand and mud and i'm impressed with them. ::012::
