I have been past this Gift Shop/Redwood Tree display hundreds of times and finally stopped yesterday to check it out a little closer. These old Redwood trees fascinate me being hundreds and hundreds of years old and surviving even the over cutting of Redwood Trees since it beIMG_0894.JPGIMG_0900.JPGIMG_0898.JPGIMG_0901.JPGIMG_0893.JPGcame the go to material for building homes and almost anything requiring a long lasting wood. Even checked out the up dated Cal-Trans rest stop.

I'll apologize in advance....more pictures of 'Where did you TAKE your Tenere today' are coming.....I got a new grand-son while on the last trip, so I got home Sunday, changed the tires (today) Monday, and leave for the west coast (tomorrow) Tuesday. I'm excited to see the 'little' fella (10lbs 8ozs).

Congrats on the new addition to your family.

As for the pictures, post em up. Always good to see stuff from other places in the world.

Am in Norway now and have done about 140 miles today. What an incredible place, very scenic with very little traffic and excellent biking roads. Reminds me of New Zealand South Island and Scotland, although Norway seems more raw, unspoilt and on a different scale, and you could hardly suggest that NZ and Scotland are spoilt or unimpressive!
Heres a few phone pics from today. The drinks one made me chuckle.

Did the Lysebotn road today, not much fun really, just loads of hairpins, but makes for great photos. The one below isn’t mine, there was an almost £10 charge to park my bike in order to access the viewing/photograph area. That’s taking the pi55. The roads to it though were incredible. More phone pics.

Norway is stunning so far.IMG_5820.jpegIMG_5822.jpegIMG_5824.jpegIMG_0732.jpeg
