I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide.
The media was doing a segment on counterfeit vaccination cards.
I'm assuming on international travel, the simple cards will not be sufficient. They will probably only accept verifiable things like the "Clear Health Pass" or one of the other apps that you have to give permission for the county/state to release your vaccination records.

My county here lets you log in to a .gov site and it shows when and where you took the vaccine, so something like that may be acceptable.

Some of the cards being sold were blank, some were prefilled, including lot numbers. If they're not valid for international travel, I guess they're being used for work, and school.

What the heck is going on here? Everyone is getting weird about everything!! It's getting to a point that good members are going to be afraid to post anything in fear of offending, insulting, or angering someone then getting locked out of this forum. Pretty darn sad......

Cant we all just get along?

My "vaccination proof" card is in my wallet as well as electronically in my Email somewhere.

There are a lot of people up here who haven't taken kindly to how many Americans blatantly flouted OUR laws and restrictions by proclaiming they were going directly to Alaska and then were found gallivanting around Banff, Jasper, Whistler and our other National Parks, especially last summer. I cannot count how many Vermont, Colorado, California, Oregon, and Utah plates I have seen "cruising" around downtown Vancouver, Vancouver Island and Whistler the past few months. Yes, I know people "could" have legitimate reasons, but with the overwhelming number I've seen myself I call BS.
/end rant

The Canadian border will open to vaccinated Americans on August 9, but the USA border remains closed to Canadians until at least August 21. And Canada has a ( slightly) higher percentage of vaccinated residents than USA.
Pffffftt.

I would like to ride there again. Looks like the "no tourists until" date has been pushed back yet again, to June 21. Canadians, do you have any insight as to the thoughts or feelings about this? Need to make some travel decisions soon yet I don't have warm fuzzies about the June 21 date not changing.

If it matters, I'd be aiming for Atlantic Canada probably via Quebec.
If you're fully vaccinated- come on up!! Have to provide proof of vaccination. If only one shot, then have to quarantine for 4 days(?)-govt. rules, for what that's worth. On similar note- Canadians can't cross into US through land borders. Not yet anyway.
