wheel bearings

I'm about to spoon on a set of Shinko 705s and will check my wheel bearings in the process. For those of you who have replaced bearings (front and/or rear), at what mileages are you swapping bearings and are you going with OEM or aftermarket (and if so, which? Any luck using a local bearing house and do they also have seals)?

I check my wheel bearings every tire change.....if I can feel roughness or hear them (with my hearing aids in!!), they would be replaced with OEM or high quality bearings. I just helped a friend change two tires on his KTM wheels----three of the four bearings were junk and worn out. So, he ordered a set for each wheel from All Balls Racing.
