I cobbled together a few parts to make a set of hwy pegs.
I removed the stock rear footpegs and had a couple of old peg mounts from a sv650. Fitted them together and mounted to the ACD skid plate.
Nice to have a second position to stretch the legs and change things up a bit. I will probably keep an eye out for a different set of pegs and eventually put the stock ones back on the rear, but it was free and gives me a chance to evaluate the position and see If I need to move them around a bit.

For my 2013 (42k miles), just ordered all of the replaceable internals for the forks, Sonic 1.0k springs, Graves mcct, Barnett spring conversion pressure plate, gen 2 clutch basket. Will be doing the swing arm pivot tear down/lube, coolant change, brake fluid change. On the list is a new Ohlins shock too. It will like a brand new bike when I get it all done. In the process of getting a new helmet too.

I am curious to find out from you how these new 360° LED bulbs work out.
The key will be how long they last. Nice and bright and uniform. You will need cyclops or equivalent roomier covers to fit. Much easier to put in without the extra ballast. They do have a two year warranty, but that assumes you can contact them within the two years. Not a "name brand".

Does it blind opposing traffic? Are people flashing their lights at you because it is too bright.?
I actually don't ride too much at night, but I do like bright bulbs for visibility during the day too. Brightness wise these are only slightly brighter than the Cyclops. No people flashing me.

It matters a lot if you get a spot vs a flood light. High lumen floods are hard to aim so they dont harm oncoming vision at night, but spots can be aimed extremely precisely to throw light on onto the road/trail.
