I love them!!! Got them off revzilla. Staying in place is a bit of an issue. Still working on the best solution. But they are VERY comfortable!

Nice!!!

They tend to rotate when you rest your feet on them, right?

What have you already tried to do? Maybe a piece o rubber beetween the rest and the crash bar?

Got the new Mefo tires today. They appear much more aggressive than the Shinko 804/805's I ran a few years ago (last picture). It might be another month or 2 before they get mounted. I shouldn't have any off road traction issues...... they will replace Mitas E07+ rear (about 6000 miles) and E07 front.

Right now I have 3 layers of roll pipe in there held perfectly for about 1000 miles now the right one is a touch loose.

The issue is they are much to big for the bars. I also ordered light mounts that include the rubber adapters to put inside with different thicknesses as needed, haven’t tried them yet but will probably do that soon.

i,m asking as my altriders have been powder coated and are a bit thicker

I got the TRex highway pegs for my Alt Rider crash bars and they tighten up like they should. No movement. I don't think the loose ones are TRex, they're Amazon or Ebay.

They have a 1 1/4 inch clamp. It is very loose on my givi bars. That’s the reason for so many layers of the plastic pipe. Will try to get a close up for you tomorrow. If they come in a smaller diameter that would be better, that being said if there is a smaller clamp size there would be enough adjustability to accommodate powder coating.

I had the issues with the ones on Holly’s bike. I ended up with a metal spacer that still allowed slip even though it was tight. So I drilled through the clamp and tapped the crash bar. then run a bolt through to keep everything from moving.

My trusted old cheap plastic toolbox used as top box sadly cracked after being used on three consecutive bikes.
No more silhouettes of ridden race tracks though. Bummer.

Luckily some after Christmas sales landed me a Givi Dolomiti of about the same size, detachable and lockable as a bonus.

XT specific plate.
