Today I installed battery tender cable to my 17. Not much of a hands on guy here but got it done at least. I was worried I might do some stupid. Lol
But all is good here. Battery indicator is flashing green, good to go.

Installed my new ACD skid plate.
Had to make a couple of studs for the install, and the fit was a bit tight up front. I had to space the front mounts out a bit more to get exhaust clearance, but other than that it was no big deal. Studs were 65mm, should have made them 75mm.

Installed the heated grips on my 2016 "standard". Easy, except the right sidem which took a few tries to get the cable and bracket routing inside the throttle casing right (or at least I hope it's right). Had poor copies of the instructions for the kit (I bought the pieces rather than the kit) and the illustrations were not that clear. But everything works. Woo hoo!

Added protection to the stock handguards using Trackside handguard brace. Installed Altrider brake pedal extender.

ricerooster,
Once you installed the rear brake pedal extender did you have to readjust the brake pedal?
Did you also check to make sure that when the rear brake pedal with the extender is depressed the rear brake light activates at the same point as it did before without the pedal extender installed?

Tire repair. Not sure where I picked it up, but it went in primarily sidewards, and did not puncture all the way through. Tire has kept its pressure. Shoved a worm in the hole, and we will see.

Minor adjustment and light break light is working.

Changed the oil on her last night. A bit late at the 4,000 miles, 4,201 to be exact. And I've got to say, for over 3500 miles that was the cleanest oil I've ever seen.

Fitted a Pyramid Plastics fender extender, in the hope that it’ll help keep water from getting into plug wells 1&2.

The amount of road debris sitting on top of the rocker cover would suggest that a lot is being thrown up high from the front wheel.

Very easy to fit if anyone is considering doing it. I used the adhesive stickers, then added a couple of push rivets for added security.

Put on a new front Mitas E-07 Dakar. Is it just me, or is the front twice as hard to spoon on as the rear?! Didn't help that it was only 60* or so. I may have to start paying someone else. At least it seated nicely and no leaks.

Where did you get the fender extender? pics? part number?

I put one on the KLR650, then the Tiger 800XC, and I would like to follow suit on the S-10.

I'd like a hugger as well, but I don't think that would be easily done :(

Pyramid Plastics makes a hugger for the Tenere as well. Twisted Throttle sells the extender, as do others, not sure about the hugger.

Yep, they can be a wrestle. And occasionally hard to seal. Had to pop one back off the bead once and reseat. Well worth it though. I'm on my last Dakar front and we can't get them here anymore :(

Added the last part of the Ravetech bash plate/sump guard...some above posts reference the fender extenda, this is a similar idea, done in a different way.
Initially I didn't order this part as I thought I would make one up myself, had made a cardboard template, but when I priced up some aluminium and the work involved (which is minimal, but work takes my time) it was almost the same price and time as ordering it from Thailand...the last couple of days of rain have proved that it works.20191018_184553.jpg

Besides Pyramid Plastics, Power Bronze in the UK also sells fender extenders, huggers and other bits for the Super Ten.
