Fell in behind a Harley herd, followed them for 15-20 miles before they took a different route. I was glad when they did. No way to pass.

Installed and tuned Power Commander PCFC. Huge improvement along with Delkevic pipe. Smoother low-end throttle, no more "farting" on deceleration. I can easily accelerate on 5th gear from 2000 RPM. Still need to tweak few ranges. Important - average miliage didn't change. Still same 45.2 MPG. Next - want to experiment with less restrictive air filter.

I installed an offset bracket for my Touratech mount. Not being able to see my RPM or turn indicators was driving me crazy. Thank you to forum member RIDEMYST!!!
BTW, whenever working in the dash area put a rag down to catch small nuts/bolts that you may drop.

Nothing today but at about 11:30 last night I installed my Ram Mount phone holder. Big plans over the next like 2 weeks or so, waiting on a bunch of parts.

Decided to clean up the stained/spotted header pipes.
Since I just got the bike, and the rest of the bike is so clean, it was one of the first things I noticed.

Before:

My tools of choice:
I used very light 800, 1000, then 1500 sandpaper. Then a small buffing wheel in my drill with some "Red" compound. I followed it up with a hand application of Mag+Aluminum Polish. I spent about an hour and a half total time to do both pipes.

P2.jpg

It didn't take much work at all..............just a little bit of time, and a little elbow-grease.
I know, they will quickly turn gold/blue once i ride the bike, but the staining bugged me...........

Two thoughts:
1) TBDBITW shouldn't have pipes that look that good!
2) You want to come do mine?
