I looked at mine again..... He looked so sad standing there with no saddle and is wind deflectors removed. Hopefully by this time next week, his saddle will be back from BMS and his deflectors re-installed.

Red dawg that looks amazing, Top job. Any chance of some close up photos maybe in the modifications area?
I road race on the pushy and since the daughter got her drivers licence it is a huge drama to get one of the cars to get to the race.

The AZ Drill Team ran a 6 week course on slow speed skill enhancement (these guys all ride Goldwings...); last night was the 6th night (I took the Tenere to 4 of the sessions, work interfered with the other 2) and we were given free reign to practice all the exercises we had done the prior 5 weeks. I had a blast, and even did all of the exercises standing up! One thing I did do that helped a lot with slow speed stuff was to switch to T mode, felt like the throttle was much easier to control. When our time was up, I wanted to keep going...so I need to find a nice big parking lot nearby, and practice some more...

Oil and Filter Change @ 585 miles. Amsoil 20W-50
Change the final drive lube. Mobil 1 75-90

Mounted the Leo Vince Slip-on and removed the muffler guard.
Removed all passenger pegs and mounts.
Removed the passenger seat and lowered the rear rack.
Mounted a waterproof back pack I bought at Costco for $20 that seems to be custom made for the S10.

@JohnPitts - Let us know how the heat off the exhaust feels. Issue, or non-issue? ::017::

I installed a J&M CB unit so I could have comm with the wife. Trying a 3' Firestick this time instead of the J&M 4'. Ditched the ground wire off the antenna and wired the power/ground from the PC-8 aux fuse block, (Eastern Beaver). Works better than it did on the FJR and the wife is happy.

Today, I finally got most of my electrical mods done.
Installed my dash shelf/panel with my heated grip controller, two rocker switches for future lights, and a switch for my garage door opener.
I also added a remote switch to my left handlebar to toggle the MPG, air temp, coolant temp display. I didn't like leaning forward to push the button at the bottom of the gauge panel everytime I wanted switch something. It worked out pretty good.
I installed my home made GPS bracket above my gauges. Power run down to my AUX fuse panel.
I ran a 2 conductor, shielded wire from my handlebar, to the back of the gauges, soldered them to the back of the existing switch in the gauges. Works nice!
Also added my AUX fuse panel to power all my widgets. Grip heaters, Aux lighting, GPS, heated gear, heated seat, etc... 5 are switched, and one is always powered.

All in all, it came out pretty good, and I am pleased with how it looks. What do you guys think?

Any more pics / details of your GPS bracket? Did you attach this to the screws that hold the instrument cluster or....?

Very nice, clean looking mods. The LV dark and rear foot peg hanger removal sure does look sweet! ::008::
