What year color combos?

Anyone happen to have a link/list of the colors available per year?

I thought I was going to dislike the white on my 2013, but it has really grown on me. I'm playing with the idea of moving on to a gen II bike and would like to keep the white (2019 is not an option I hate it).

I had a Gen 1 white and liked it a lot. You can do a direct swap of the Gen 1 tank and both front fairing panels to
a Gen 2. Or, you can have your Gen 2 painted white like Fredz43 did to his 2014....it looks factory.

Buy the new one, switch everything out, and sell the used one with the new stuff. Everything switches over. I like your white with the red striping. . . .reminds me of the '81 Seca I had.

Yeah as little surface area as the bikes have that would need paint/maybe wrap, Id actually consider doing it. I thought I was going to do mine yellow when I bought it, I've hatted every white vehicle I've owned, but this one just does it for me.

I highly preferred the white of my previous 2013 Tenere but my 2018 is blue.
Been saying for years if Yamaha would have put a better looking paint job on the Tenere’s they would have been waaaaay easier to sell, the paint job they have now looks more like a cobble job of leftover parts.

Best colour schemes, by a mile, are the white with red speed blocks, and yellow with black speed blocks.

Tied for second place is the matte grey in 2013 and candy red in 2015, and third place would be the desert brown colour in 2017 (?)

IMO of course

I agree, but I saw a picture of a new Honda AT, and it too had a lot of black plastic. I'm starting to wonder if it's supposed to be "in style", or it's just that all of the manufacturers are being cheap skates.

Unfortunately matte/flat AKA "satin" paint colors as well as black rims/alloy mag wheels are all the current rage for powersports, cars and trucks.

You're probably right. I think the correct term is "murdered out". Everything is black or blacked out. Trying to get the younger crowd interested. You know, the ones that put low profile street tires on a 3/4 ton 4 x 4.

Glass packs. We're too rural for those. Our version is the 9" echo tips on the diesels, blowing black smoke.

I always liked the 1st Gen blue tank and front fender with the grey/silver panels with matching exhaust. The seat had blue and black or grey combo if i remember correctly as well. As someone said earlier, Yammie should have tried a little harder with the colors of this bike. The new 2019-20 would totally pop if they added the blue rims and forks from the non-US model from a few years ago. I am partial to the Tenere so I do find all colors to be acceptable. Haha. I'll stop babbling.
