What part am I missing? Retrofitting stock windshield coming from a Touratech tall one

Hello everyone

When I got my 2012 Super Tenere, it came with a Touratech tall windshield. I want to re-install a factory one.

I procured a windscreen (from someone on this forum I believe, or maybe ADVrider) but I was not able to mount it.
I removed the Touratech one and I could not find a way to mount the factory one with the existing brackets. The holes on the windscreen are too far part.

I am really confused because the mounts seem to be factory, and the windscreen I have even say "Super Tenere" on it so I am assuming it's the correct one.

What's going on here? Was there a change after 2012? Are there several versions of the factory windscreen?

Thank you

Looks like the windshield you are trying to install is from a Gen2, 2014-present. The windshields for the Gen1 2010-2013 are different. The Gen2 Super Teneres have an adjustable bracket, the Gen1 does not.

I see the additional bracket. It looks like the "stay" is the same part (#24 vs #9). Perhaps I could just find a bracket, which would give me the additional GPS mount.

Have you seen the Madstad setup? It's a pretty popular add on. It gives you all kinds of adjustability. After trying several other windscreens, I have the Madstad bracket and windscreen on mine.

I have the stock windshield if you are interested. Cost for you is shipping and nothing else. May have been on my bike for 2 months(Bike was bought new) I will post pictures so that you are comfortable paying for shipping.. Yes it is from a 2012 S10. I went to the V_stream tinted windshield and have loved it. Bought their taller one also but never felt the need for it.

That’s mighty decent offer of you. Glad to see someone offer to give something away they would never use. I see too many trying to sell stuff for big money that will rot n there shed. I got a really low mileage shock for $100 from a member a few years ago.
