I've been using adv monster for several years. They have served well but one went out on me couple weeks ago. Gonna try another brand. So what works well. I mount to the engine guards and using there flood lights. Something reasonably priced. thanks

Search Amazon. I found a set for $15.00. 4" pod flood/spot combo. Plenty bright. Haven't had them long enough to comment on durability though.
What kind are they. $15 bux is worth a try. I've got a rigid flood spot now. But some of the dark back roads I ride could use some more deer lights.

I have a harbor freight cube spot on one side and a vision x flood on a the other. Vision x was $$$. Harbor fright is working well. Time will tell.

www.ledrider.com has better than average quality Chinese lights and outstanding customer service. Not $15 though.

LED Pods, AAIWA 4 Inch 120W LED Light Bar, 2PCS 12000LM is what they are offering now, but they look identical and are $2 more. The ones I have are made by Ambother. The price is the reason I gave them a try.

i was given Piaa yamaha aux light, since i brought a full option model. My experience Piaa is not so bright, compare to what i installed Baja S2 pro Spot, even at 10% is still brighter than Piaa. Now i'm hesitating between using piaa until is broken and replace it with Baja Squadron Pro, or add additional 6" light bar from Rigid SR pro.

From my experience, Clearwater, Baja, Cyclop light bulb, Piia.
Brightest of all is Clearwater erica, but road reflection is not so good is too much K.
Best light color and good road reflection is Baja, their light is more yellow than Clear water.
Cyclop good light bulb the rest i never try.
Piia light only get it if it free, or city use.

If someone is tooling around and wants to be seen coming home from work, get ‘anything’ you want.

If someone might be out crossing Moab Utah off road at midnight, looking for a camp site I HIGHLY suggest
Baja Designes. I’ve used them for almost 20 years and only have good things to say. 5+ stars in my book. Absolutely amazing !
I’ve been off road out in the sticks in West Texas, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, BDR’s, etc. I’ve been the one looking for a camp site late at night way off the beaten path. These lights have turned the pitch black desert into daylight.

For reference, I run two squadron pro’s up front. And a set of the S2 on my bars. I run them on separate relays and the lights are all stand alone. If I have a crash or damage any light, it won’t effect any of the others. This is for safety out in the desert. All very redundant and separated.

For the folks going out and riding places like I do, or out on any of the BDR's. Please buy the most light you can afford. It might save your life one day. Please take it from me.

This chart has some great info on it. It's a good comparison resource.Screen Shot 2019-11-12 at 4.36.39 PM.png

didn't say I didn't need to be careful even with the lights , just that its hard to say "I didn't see him " because of the lights . and tabasco was talking more about off road night visibility , which is fairly important . crawling up those switchbacks after dark with out good lights would have been even more scary . trying to beat trains , well , that's crazy . led lights ,best thing since sliced bread.

I have for one year and a half 4 pieces of these :

Sans titre-1.jpg

Mounted two on Altrider upper crashbar and two under the headlights.

They illuminate enough to see and be seen, the quality for the price is quite reasonable, and they are small enough not to break too easily :D

More power and bigger size available, also tested but too big for my use :

Soooooo, I decided to go with the rigid sr=m pro lights. Our 4x4 shop here close has a big wall of lights. Rode down picked me a set out and ordered. This is where I made my mistake. This was a Saturday and was told they would drop ship to the house Wednesday or Thursday. So w waited until monday still no lights. Give them a call, opps my order was deleted. But they would straighten it out. No problem I said. Another week go by still no lights. Deleted again. But he was going to handle it himself. Ok we'll see. So finally today, low and behold the lights got delivered. Grab the box set down to look at my highly anticipated new toys. And not only was it the wrong light there was only one of them. There going back.

I would highly recommend getting a full refund and going with the Baja Design. You will not be disappointed.
