Do you have a link? This is interesting enough that i might give it a try on my 2013

Edit: Nevermind. I found the thread. No way would i run this mod. 50deg of timing advance at wot? Noooo thanks.

The crazy advanced timing issue turned out to not be real. It was just FlashTune displaying the wrong timing map for neutral. There is no risk of over advancing with the clutch switch shorted.

Just tried this on my gen1 tenere after confirming that there is NOT a 50 degree engine advance on this map. Apparently that was a misunderstanding before with the flashtune UI.

Wow.

Huge difference down low in terms of overall fueling and engine smoothness. You can easily do full lock uturns now under just idle power with no stalling or surging. That alone makes this worth considering.

Probably a flash is the better solution, but its cool to know this exists.

I just checked my 1st Gen. I was going to see what all the hubbub was about. Lo and behold there was a 5 amp mini blade fuse slid into the connector. I guess that means the PO already did the mod. I left it there. I may remove it this weekend and see what the difference may be.
