Sorry in advance. I have a 2012 which was purchased in 2013 Yamaha Super Tenere. I purchased a set of Givi PL2119 CAM for outback side case mounts. This piece of sh1t won't fit.

When I align the top 2 screws, see how the bottom part by the foot peg is way off? the screws are very loose, but I cannot seem to pull it back enough to make that foot peg piece work. If align it by the passenger foot peg, then the back screw becomes way off. Also, the screw for the passenger foot peg is not long enough.

What is this crap marked as 10 in diagram A. The first diagram that shows each part number ends at 9, not 10.

Did I purchase the wrong part? Please see attached photos.

Here is the installation instructions : https://www.revzilla.com/assets/0001/1935/givi_pl2119_cam_side_case_racks_super_tenere_xt1200_z20142015.pdf . Page 2 shows each piece.

damn it, i think #3 bolt needs to go to a small hall behind the foot peg. I will report soon.
If that's on the muffler side, that's how I remember mine.

AFA the rest of it, sometimes a little leverage is enough to tweak the thing close enough to get the bolts to all start.

Do you have the spacers for the two big bolts in the correct position?

I remember I buggered that and couldn't align it right.

I just tried installing mine today on my 2015 S10. In Australia the bike doesn’t come standard with the grab rails which means I couldn’t install as I have a gap where the grab rails go which needs spacers made to fit. How frustrating I also thought I had bought the wrong brackets.

I fitted the exact same Givi rack to my 2017 non-ES bike. As Festar mentioned, non-ES bikes do not have pillion grab rails but I bought 20 2mm thick stainless steel washers from eBay to use as spacers. My intention was to get stainless steel spacers made but a year later the washers are still in place.

Yes, there was some slight mis-alignment, but I put this down to possible handling damage during transit but I never had to force anything, simply get the bolts started loosely before tightening each bolt up a little at a time.

I think regder may be right. The best that I could tell from the pictures, and the instruction diagram, the spacers are not in the correct place(s). Hard to be completely sure though.

GIVI makes solid products but their instructions really suck.
