I named mine Ella Mae after a woman I knew with the same solid reliable nature.

My wife calls her "the other woman" ::025::

It's pronounced 'Twenty-one-twelve'

I've never named any of my bikes but I do get it, oddly enough I have named a few cars over the years.

Called it a POS a couple of the hard start occurrences that resulted in a dead battery :D

I don't use it except when asked about it, but I have a license plate frame that says "Business". That way when riding I am "away on business", or when in the garage I am "taking care if business", etc

Mine's affectionately known as "Soupy". This arose after my youngest daughter misheard that the bike was a Super Tenere, the day I brought it home from the dealer. She told my other daughter that it was a "Soupy Ten" and it's sort of stuck since then. :)

I have 4 bikes so it kinda worked out that the Super Ten is "The Big Bike", my Xr650L is simply "the Xr", the CBR250 is "Zippy", and my pit pike is "Bruiser" (named because it's the only bike I have that I ALWAYS get hurt on. LOL)
