There’s like 14 that show moved today and most of them haven’t been read or posted on by anyone for many years. Guess I just would like to understand how or why that happens .

You gotta know (and understand) wreckerchecker to make sense of these kinds of things.

Even better, go camping with him somewhere. While sitting around the gathering, watch what he "sorts out" while he is even relaxing. He might move a chair forward or backwards a couple of inches. He might straighten up the discarded beer bottles into a nice symmetrical pile. Get the idea?

The world needs at least a sprinkling of these folks around just to keep order. (Or clean up our mess)

If you wanna have some fun, when he isn't paying attention, undo some of his efforts. Keep it subtle. Then enjoy. ;)
(I may have just ratted myself out)

::025:: However you describe Checkswrecks, those personality traits are what got the Romney event to the next level. The guy is a freaking machine...in a good way.

Did you guys see how he organized all the Romney threads...? Awesome stuff. ::012:: (okay, maybe I'm a bit biased)

He is ALL that.

But he is also the most elegant get-offer I have ever witnessed. Dude crashes with style! Etched in my mind forever.

LOL - I dumped the bike to keep from going off the side of a small embankment and only you could phrase that so well.

Hey to everybody else -
This is your invitation to put Romney 2018 on your calendars. We get folks from Texas (Snakebitten), the crazy Canadians and their good liquor, guys from the south end of Florida, etc. I'm always amazed at how far some of you travel. Dirt Dad and the Romney guys moved the date 2 weeks later next year in trying to get into drier and warmer weather.

There is enough space that the true introverts can do their own thing, there is a great fire pit with chairs which almost always has folks chatting, and on the other side of the parking lot the more outgoing set can hang at their own fire. Plus all the small groups of friends clustering tents and sharing beverages at night, then riding the next day. You can ride all street 2-up or mostly dirt/gravel, etc. You'll find all sorts of fellow ADV folks you can identify with.

You're closer to Anchorage than that? :)

Dang near! What a great place to wander around in that we live in. ::001::
