I don't have a drill press, but I could probably come up with $70 and a way to get to Harbor Freight if that's really all it takes to build one.

Interesting...
The Delta drill press in my garage is available any time..

Just curious are semi auto shotguns treated differently there than an over under or pump guns? I know in some of Europe its "easy" to get a over under as a sporting gun, but a semi auto would require a higher category license.
Firearms are divided in to two categories. Restricted and Non-restricted. Any firearm or air gun with a power in excess of 1 Joule requires a licence (Permit). Restricted firearms include semi-auto shotguns (but is not limited to) , with a capacity of more than 3 shells. The use of a removable plug satisfies this regulation. A restricted firearm is much more difficult to obtain a permit but is still possible. Added home security is necessary and proof that an unrestricted firearm cannot be used for the same descipline The use of a "plug" in the magazine circumvents this regulation. New centre fire Handgun permits are impossible to obtain. a Shotgun with a pistol grip is again deemed to be restricted but on the other hand a thumbhole grip is not. Any firearm or air gun with a power in excess of 1 joule requires a firearm licence . The process for obtaining a licence is extensive. Suppressors are treated as a firearm and cannot be purchased without a permit

Thank you for the concise factual answer without opinions added.

Your post verifies that you have to make a comment. My summation is correct for me. If you don't like something then don't read the thread.
Well for my part, a thread appeared on here that was to do with something I have no knowledge at all about and I was curious to find out more about it. So I asked some questions and was told that I wasn’t allowed to because the subject is so sensitive. No malice, no agenda, just curious.

I read a great stat am sure it was the WOMD Iraq war. Apparently you guys spent $4.5 billion just on air conditioning for the troops. I dont even want to think how much was spent on the munitions side. Probably the most expensive oil you ever bought.

Getting toward the political but not quite enough to delete. Let's keep this to the first post please.

Poll was 41 (66%) to keep the thread and 21 (34%) plus things have settled down with a couple of vocal members leaving. Thread stays as long as people keep to what is in the first post on page 1, bu this is subject to change at any time.
