Hi all.

Anyone who knows where I can find or buy one of these plastic panels/thingys? (the inch thick panel which replaces the stock top box rack on the world crosser edition)

Not running a top box and this looks like a nice replacement for the bulky OEM rear bits.

That is not a World Crosser edition part, it is however a EU non-ES version part, because in the EU, that is in place of the rear rack, Yamaha cheaped out on parts for the non-ES version, like rear rack, centerstand, pillion grab rails and a couple other parts. Take off your rear rack and you may find it under there......

Thanks for the informative reply!

I (erroneously) assumed it was part of the weight saving business! This then seems to be one of those situations where less is more - or atleast in my view!

I've had a gander underneath but no luck! (got the ES) Without that piece the drop from the seat to fairing looks a tad unrefined! Thanks for putting me in the right direction though, will be sure to get into touch with our EU-model brothers ::021::

I took off my stock rack and put that piece on. Looks much better if you don't need a top box. Makes the bike look more stocky. Easy to swap out anyway. I ordered mine from a Yamaha parts supplier in the Netherlands. Sorry, I don't remember the name. Took a few weeks to arrive. It was all in English and easy transaction. Not cheap if I remember.

One more thing. I think you need the three spacers that go underneath for it too. They're different than the ones that come stock. Been a while.
