Hi Guys,

Still looking for an OEM skidplate, has anyone got one in a dark place in the garage or attic and wants to part?
Let me know so we can negotiate price and shipping..

OEM looks very flimsy to me.
TABASCO, a member on this site, probably makes the most durable skid plate.
My second choice would be the T-Rex unit.
I need to save some hard earned pension dollars before I pull the trigger. In the mean time, I have restricted my travels to less technical routes.
Regards,

Thanks, I will PB Tabasco to see what’s going on..
But for extra info, I am not traveling on heavy duty tecnical routes with boulders all over the place.
Next to cosmetic, it is for the odd piece of gravel hitting the bottom, or oil filter…

Buy something that bolts to the frame. All of those plates bolt directly to the oil Pan.

Remember if you take a solid hit to any of those plates the force is transferred directly to the part you are supposed to be protecting.

Happy with my Ravetech plate. Bolts to the frame and is reasonably priced.

Those UK made plates will work great for rock chips and such, nice find. And they're kinda local even.

I saw just what you ordered right here (no personal connexion), EU too:

If no much else, it protects the filter from thrown gravel, or the occasional tulip bulb bouncing down the road... ;)
