Cross fit is ok. . . . if you're under the age of 35. . . . or want to destroy your joints. I told him that I'd push him around in a wheel chair. He reminded me that it wouldn't be the first time.

I did it for about 1 year and its terrible for your bodies joints, back and ligaments. I noticed an attitude that this type of workout is better along with word being thrown around like, "functional fitness" whatever the fuck that means. I quit after the owner started shit about me and that he was raising the rates to $220 per month.

The exercises themselves are not the problem. It's the speed at which they do them, and the weight that they're using. The speed causes loss of form. . . . throw a couple hundred pounds into the mix, and that's where the injuries start.

Agreed the attitude when I did it is work until failure even if form breaks down or your pain and not the normal type. I think I got to 265 back before I started having all kinds of problems at age 28 at the time.
