I got my 2013 back together after adjusting the valves and putting fresh plugs in. It will crank, but it won't start. It backfired a few times, and it ran once for about 1 second but then died. It sure seems like it is flooded, but I don't know anymore.
Everything went back together without any major issues, the only thing that I am not sure about is the order of the spark plug wires. The #1 cylinder leads are about the same length, and i am not 100% sure if they went the went back in the same place. If I understand this engine correctly, the order should not matter, as they both fire at the same time.
I pulled a plug from each cylinder and hit the start (removed the EFI fuse). It cranked good and released a strong fuel smell.
The plugs have spark for sure.
I ran the battery down, and I will let that charge before I do much more with it. What should I check for ?
thank you much!
