For various reasons, some good some not, I have not ridden the 2013 Super Tenere sitting in my garage for almost two years. Time to face reality and just get rid of the thing. In addition to the bike, which only has about 5500 miles on it (best guess from memory), I have a ton of related stuff to sell, from top-notch and very lightly-used gear (Klim Badlands Pro suit, Klim Induction jacket, Klim Dakar pants, Rev'it Airwave 2 pants, Shoei Hornet X2 helmet (XL), Sidi Adventure Gore-Tex boots, Daytona Road Star GTX boots, a bunch of awesome gloves from Rukka Virium (2 pair) to Rukka Imatra, to Alpinestars GT-S X-Trafit, some heated gear, etc), to a bike lift, to some other nice add-ons and tools. Rather than start with a bunch of posts with photos I'm going to be lazy and post this feeler first to gauge interest. If you're in the market for any of this stuff post to this thread or PM me and we'll go from there.

In short, I had grand plans for epic trips that got interrupted by unexpected events. Familiar story, but leads to great deals on great stuff.

TPS cable harness recall not completed yet but I'll get that done soon. The headlight harness recall was completed years ago. Also has the new 2014 clutch basket, which was probably the best upgrade I ever did to the bike (vibes) other than the ECU remap.

Fyi, I'm in San Diego.

Sorry to hear plans have changed and that your selling up. There is some very nice kit there I could be interested in depending on sizes but alas postage would be the killer
Good luck with the sale

All -

Thanks for the well wishes. I'll respond to everyone who has posted or PM'd me in the next day or so. Sorry for the delay.

At this time I have no plans to sell aftermarket parts off the bike. My preference is definitely to sell it as is.

wispyone - You're right that shipping could be a major issue for some of this stuff, but for a fair price I can absorb the cost.

More to follow.

I'm in San Diego, what size is the gear...or rather your height/weight may be even better? I'd like to check it out if it fits. I have a buddy in Ramona looking for a Tenere but he kind of wants a Gen 2, but if the price is right he could be swayed.

Hey arjayes, sorry to hear about the change in plans, but I understand all too well. Please be sure to post up some pics of the items for sale; if you need help, please let me know.

I apologize for getting ahead of myself here. There has been a lot of interest in gear but little or no interest in the bike, which I should have anticipated. Obviously I didn't think this through very well. The problem is that if I sell all the gear then I'm stuck with a bike I couldn't ride even if I wanted to. I need to tap the brakes a bit and do this in the right order. Step #1: Sell bike. Step #2: Sell gear.

Let's please abandon this thread for now and I'll post a separate for sale thread for the bike with photos, etc. I'll also be trying to sell the bike locally. To all those who PM'd me, when it's time to sell the gear I'll get back to you in the order in which you reached out.

Again, my apologies for being a ditz.

Bob
