UK guys, advice and links to a reasonable torque wrench

We may be saying the same thing, but I was told that you always adjust the wrench back to zero when you're through with it for that reason. Just loosening the thumb wheel/screw/knob on the bottom doesn't really do anything.

You are quite correct, I should have been more clear, wind the adjuster all Tue way out to zero
