I hope we see a few more followers add their names to the list in the next three weeks.

I normally view this thread 4 or 5 times a week, its been a bit quiet this past couple of weeks, is everybody "spring cleaning" their bike in readiness for the up coming event so to busy to get on here and post ?

You organise the next one ??? Just an idea !
I run bike tours around Europe and Scotland so well used to sorting runs but numbers is a problem. Anything North of Birmingham the numbers drop and people start forgetting where best roads are ::013::

You can have big groups down South or hundreds of miles of proper biking roads......... your all welcome up here anytime and i'll sort it ::008::

Given that this event is taking place on my home turf, I shall endeavour to be there too. This all depends however, on whether I can get the day off work (thanks for the staff shortages Jeremy Hunt!!!  ) and my "brownie point" tally. ::)

Has anyone forewarned CMC not that I see a problem with 15 or so S10s arriving.

Program will be arrival by 10.30 leave CMC 11.15 for a short ride around local roads (route as planned by Richard Peak Park )to a lunch stop at the Yondermann cafe after lunch short ride down to Matlock Bath for a coffee and disperse for home from there.

Lets hope for some nice weather, those who want to put the routes into their sat nav here is plan leave CMC then through the Villages of Alton, Beeley, look at the Big House (Chatsworth) go towards Baslow but cut back to ride up the 13 Bends A619 towards Bakewell then cut across A6020 to Great Longstone up onto Longstone Edge (Moor Road) and onto the Yonderman for grub.

Then onto Matlock Bath, up through Wardlow, Asford in the Water, (now if we have time, up Taddington on A6 turn off to Chelmorton and back to Monyash if not then) straight to Monyash then the A515 to Newhaven left onto the famous A5012 Via Gellia all the way to Cromford and Matlock Bath.

If we can leave CMC Prompt or better, the extra miles after lunch wont disappoint, so lets not dawdle at CMC or have a dessert at the Yonderman .

Any other local S10 rider who knows the roads i have suggested and would volunteer to be the tail end Charlie, pipe up and be counted, much appreciated.

Any thoughts or suggestions esp from those who have to travel from afar are welcome.

Hey Zed, why all the way back down to Alton (as in Alton towers) before Beeley? That's almost a third of the way back home for me (Hereford) or is there another Alton?

Rain or shine... or both, I'll be turning up. Probs a bit earlier like Bryn too, so get more time to paw over any interesting Super Tens should others do the same...

I'm pretty sure this is the route for you satnavs if you have them. Please feel free to change it if I've not followed it correctly. I know most of these roads and it's a cracking ride ;-)

Nearly right, going the wrong way from CMC, missing Alton and going off piste at Baslow ;D but you have the shorter after dinner route from Ashford in the Water to Monyash which we may have to do.
Thanks Syntec4 ::003:: for forcing me to actually plan a route, been meaning to try motogoloco, now to put it in my new 590

So this is the full route
https://www.motogoloco.com/map?route=18424 It says 1 3/4hrs but i think that's on a moped. ;)
