Customer service is lackluster to just plain poor. In August I ordered SW Motech foot pegs. It's a set consisting of pegs and adjustable mounting hardware. They shipped only the pegs. Takes a few days to find out I only get the pegs. I call and they go 'oh yeah' I asked to expedite but no luck. They come in and I am to use the original springs but my bike was used and had aftermarket pegs. The springs did not work and I was unsure if they sent the proper parts so I call and ordered and paid for a second set of mounting hardware with their approval to accept a return. They agreed to 2 day shipping that took a week again. My fault, I ordered a set of OEM springs in the mean time and they did work. I return the extra set of hardware on 9/13.
Today I see something that TT carries that is discounted due to overstock and they're the last ones I want to deal with. But I still have not received my refund after emailing them last week inquiring why and getting no response. So I thought maybe I could use the refund against the purchase and be done with them.
It takes the customer service person quite awhile of pecking on the computer and twice asking me if I'm still there 4-5 minutes at least. I finally asked if he needs the return authorization number again. Finally he finds the answer that it has made it to accounting but they are quite behind. In my case a least 5 weeks behind.
I was not able to apply the credit against a purchase of something they are overstocked on and wanting to move. I understand if it is in the system for accounting to reimburse. BUT at some point CUSTOMER SERVICE needs to kick in.
Obviously I did not order anything and have no intention to. The people I have spoken with are close to flat lining or stoned to Cheech and Chong levels. Due to this I was very calm and patent which was a challenge.
I will update this when I get my refund so that you will know how things work at TWISTED THROTTLE.
