I have TuneBoy (costs $$$'s) and TuneECU (free) for my Tiger 1050 and just love it. Changed the engine mapping to get rid of the lean-surge that most bike have nowadays..changed the exhaust, opened up the airbox and changed the map again to compensate. It's a great tool. These tools also make balancing the throttle bodies a piece of cake, along with allowing you to recalibrate the speedo (get rid of the speedo error), read & reset the 'check engine light' plus being able to read and record all the sensor data...which makes troubleshooting much easier (if you have to).

I hope that something like this will be available for the XTZ!
