Anyone with a touratech seat? I've been thinking of giving it a try, maybe the +1" for more leg room. I'm curious on long range comfort and if the seat slant is corrected.

The stock seat kills me by time i hit 100 miles and i have to keep moving around and pick my but off the seat.

I’ve had Corbin seats all made for my previous bikes. I thought I would try Sargent this time as Corbin has changed a bit of how they do things.

The Sargent is very comfortable and a bit wider in the bowlish shape towards the rear.

Eventually I will have my stock seat reupholstered as I’ve seen some great customs for all bikes.

I haven’t seen or sat on a Tour-a-tech, but best of luck. Seats are pricy. Buying from Sargent direct as opposed from buying from Revzilla will save you about $125, which made me frown at Revzilla. I still buy other things there when needed.

It is the "tall seat ". I will have to check on the level when I get back to the house.

I also have a Corbin that I like. I can also ride on it all day. But, it feels like I'm riding a Harley with the lower seat height compared to the touratech.

I have Touratech standard size seat, very comfortable compared to the stock seat. I did a long 6000 km Europe trip on it, very satisfied.

Thanks guys, I looked at seat concepts, but it does not appear to be a straight bolt on seat.

Interesting on the standard tourtech vs tall as I'm 6'1 and feel a little cramped with the stock seat.

I'm 6'5" w/ 35" inseam. Purchased the tall TT seat and ended up using it on the low setting - turned out plenty tall enough for me.

I've only done one longer trip with it and was very happy with how it felt vs. the Seat Concepts seat previously on the bike. The tall TT in lower position is similar in height to the Bill Mayer custom seat on my other Tenere. The combination of harder foam and a seating position further towards the rear of the seat, when compared to the BM, made for many happy miles in July.

I was prepared to modify the seat slant when I got the TT but found that it worked well as shipped (all bumpers the same size). I didn't feel as if it pushed me forward unnecessarily.
