A diagonally placed stick meant I went sideways instead of up the bank. Made it 10 kms along a greasy track, and dropped it 10 m short of the road. S10 ABS and TC don't work in these conditions, or actually work too well.

Who’d have thought it! I know foxes are pretty common now in London, including central London. But a deer! Is that on the outskirts of London?

Finchley, there is a golf course not far from me they are about but you rarely see them.

I grew up in East London, have no recollection of seeing any wildlife back then. Although I do recall the drama over the alleged bear sighting on Hackney Marshes, early 80’s I guess.
