Throttle Lock

I have a 2013 that i would like to add a throttle lock. I have stock bars with Yamaha hand guards. Does anyone have experience adding a throttle lock? I've used Kaoko on other bikes in the past.

I’ve been riding Goldwings equipped with cruise control since 1992. Had KAOKO on my 2013 Tenere and hated it, switched to some other brand throttle lock much cheaper but don’t remember the name it was better but I still hated not having an actual cruise control so after 50,000 miles I traded for a new 2018 equipped with cruise control.
