From time to time I share some insight to the thoughts of my two daughters, mainly the older one (nearly 9) but recently the younger who is 6 has chimed in.
This is a conversation between my wife and the 6 year old who gets a lift to school once a week.

Daughter: " I am so lucky to have such nice lovely lovely parents"
Wife: " Are we always nice?"
Daughter:"Daddy is very nice.......... except when he yells"
Wife: " Your daddy loves you very much!"
Daughter: "But he cant just let it out of his heart?"

Boy, have I got my work load increased! :( :(

Nothing in life is better than being a daddy to a little girl. Enjoy every minute. They grow up way too quickly.

Many years ago when my first daughter was born, someone asked me how do I feel about having a girl (I was carrying her at the time) as I was extreme 'man', sports (heavyweight bodybuilder, boxer) / cars / bikes and anything that was 'aggressive' in it's perception. I simply looked at this person and said, "she makes me a better human being!" That has not changed to this day. although she now does like to test my will to live ::010::

This is sooo true! I spent yesterday watching my only daughter get married! I can't believe how fast that went. What an awesome day.

Another chapter finished...the next one started.

Congratulations!! Mine is home from college (spring break), and that's a big deal to me. I can't imagine how the wedding affects the emotions.

No wedding yet, but it's going to be 55 in Montana tomorrow, so we're going riding. She on the 690 duke; I'll be riding the Super 10.

GREAT photo. Thanks for sharing. Something to think about on tomorrow's ride.

Congrats, probably a day of very mixed emotions. I'm way off that day, if ever, according to the girls, boys are very annoying! :D

Dad emotions are set on 11 that day. By the time the day is over you'll realize it was one of the best days you've ever had.
