The new Mitas E07 Adventure tire (tyre)

Yes sir I have seen his reviews. I like Kyle's reviews because not only are they unbiased, but he tests each tire on the same loop in all different terrains. The cameras and cameramen are positioned to see exactly what the tire does and how it performs. Not so much in the video above.

OMG...Mototrek is also in on the great E07 conspiracy! Deliberately altered their standard in depth review that normally include lots of good camera angles, just to continue pulling the wool over the eyes of the motorcycling public in order to perpetuate the delusion that the E07 is a damn good tire. Fortunately, there are a brave few renegades among us that can penetrate these multiple layers of deception and deceit, and tiresplain to all the E07 fans (even the ones who've, gasp, actually used the tire) how they're all wrong, and the tire is shit.

We're through the looking glass here, people!

Well guys, if you’ve searched around, it looks like”The Greatest Tire of All Time” is coming back;)! This thread was started about the plus version. Maybe a new thread of the comeback is in order. I’ll defer to someone else.

Hey Chris...BTW the E07 mileage is really towards the bottom of my lists of likes about it. I honestly get about 5-6k out of them. That’s just me. The originals that came on the bike came off at about 5k and they were done. Wish I had taken a pic for those who doubt. Hwy 36 up here is demanding on tires, very twisty. Peace brother.

P.S. Dirt_Dad is ornery, in a fun way:)

Interpretation: This reviewer agrees with Chris. So all you silly riders who made up your mind about this tire before a reviewer told you what to think, can begin your back tracking and equivocation now.

I'm sure Chis will be understanding as you bring him your embarrassed corrections now.

Interpretation: This reviewer does not agree with Chris.

Sorry guys, still need to continue submitting your embarrassed corrections about your first hand experiences with the E-07.
Guess you can't make up your mind or just don't want to look at the reviews or try out a better tire. All the reviews on the E07 have good and bad points.

Of these over 260 replies to this thread, most members are wanting a tire that gets good mileage and are willing to compromise the performance shortcomings.

BTW, there is no need for anyone to have firsthand experience on a tire that is going to perform the same exact way as any other Chevron based tread. That tread pattern has a very distinctive handling trait like no other tire. Some like it and some (like myself) don't care for it.

Hwy 36 is a twisty road for sure. I have only tackled it once on my Ninja 650R. I remember it being very desolate. I had super sticky Michelin Pilots that were done in under 5,000 miles.

I sure miss the original Mitas E07 (non-Dakar in my case). It was excellent on wet and dry pavement and very good on gravel roads. I got 8K miles on the rear. I only got 5K miles on the E07+.
The MotoZ Tractionator got good mileage (12K miles), but it "stepped out" on wet pavement.
Now I am trying the K60 (only 1K so far). I've heard the longevity is good, but I am concerned about wet pavement traction due to other people's reports.
The original E07 could rail corners on wet pavement! I would pay top $$ to get another set!
Hi, just to let you know we have been paying attention to customer feedback on your forum and the E-07 has been reintroduced alongside the E-07+ both with extra Dakar versions as well. Our distributors have started ordering stock in early 2020 from the factory in Europe so should start to be available again.

I think Mitas deserves a lot of credit for not only listening to their customers, but being open about the fact that they're listening. How many bike manufacturers will be aware for years about an issue with one of their bikes and just ignore it? When I wrote to Mitas about this issue, I had really no hope that it would have any effect, and I'm glad I was wrong.

Figures. I just got a set of Tractionators mounted. I let a friend of mine ride it today with TC turned off. He roosted the shit out of my yard. Got 400 miles on em with lots of gravel and dirt. Workin great so far.

I seen some trials tire tracks on the trail I rode today.

I’m pretty impressed with the e07 as an overall, do it all tire. Thanks Mitas for listening to actual riders. I know what my next set of tires will be.

I think I'd still pick a Tractionator GPS over the E07. :)

It's pretty cool that Mitas brought them back. Very few manufacturers are willing to do that. Sales will quickly show which version is most preferred. Perhaps there is market enough for both EO7 and EO7+ in both std and Dakar?

Now, about that other stuff going on in this thread. Don't Feed The Troll.
