Hi Don T, I am looking forward to following your progress. I love Denmark and I have travelled there a few times and would have been there this month if it were not for the Corona Virus/Covid-19

I did the northern and western part of your trip last year with my buddy on our way from Sweden to Germany, very beautiful and enjoyable indeed

Hopefully things will return to normal in a foreseeable future. If you get to Zealand and need a cold beer and a place to crash, you are welcome to give me a call.

That is how most people view Denmark - as a transit country that connects Scandinavia to mainland Europe.
Maybe my RR will open people's eyes for what Denmark has to offer as a destination..?

Denmark is a lovely country and a great destination for a holiday or a tour. I have stayed in Tonder, Ribe, Bork Havn, Jammerbugt Camping near Fjerritslev, (you must visit Klim Strand and see the fishing boats being pulled out of the sea!), and of course you must visit and stay in Skagen. We stayed at Paul Eeg Camping and went to Grenen to paddle where the Skagerrak meets the Kattegat. I have also stayed at Charlottenlund Fort Camping, a good base if you want to visit Copenhagen and the campsite is a bit special too! Yes, Denmark is a special place! I can’t wait to go back! Maybe September if the travel returnsto normal or if not, then next May/June.
