wow love the mercedez looks in great condition
Thank you! I bought it and have work in the reconstruction for almost 8 years and I have done almost all the vehicle, very little done by someone else. I like it very much too!
To all, have a nice weekend.

We got a little rain a couple nights ago. That's a 250lb. manhole cover dancing around from the water pressure. This is about 1 mile from my house. They keep building more subdivisions and just tie them into the existing storm sewers.

It would actually be nice if they tied my new house in a new subdivision to any kind of drainage. All our drains are blocked. And it looks like this out front.

Typical examples of urban spawl. So called developers buy up land, turn it into subdivisions with no planning for problems like these. The municipalities issue the permits so they can annex these areas to expand their tax base. The manhole video was shot in an area that is quite a bit lower than the surrounding area. The storm sewers are undersized and after finding out that water doesn't run uphill, they rely on lift stations that don't appear to work very well. One mile away...no water problems.

Is your basement flooded?

For folks that like some history. Ive never seen this photo before and found it really interesting if your familiar with the time, place, circumstances of the Wild West. I find it very interesting that Doc was 29 in this photo. Morgan was 30, Kate was 32. All of these folks look MUCH older. The old west was not for weak people.

(Side note) if you like history about some crazy people with huge ball bearings. Go do some some reading on Kit Carson. Very amazing what endurance / smarts / wherewithal this man had.

Quite a few years back a group of riders from the FJR forum had a similar activity. The difference involved a high powered handgun and a Barbie doll.
