I recently completed a build on a drunk adult thrashed TTR 90. I was amazed at how much abuse this bike took. My buddy purchased it not running for around 300 bucks. It took a month or so in my spare time and around 500 bucks to dial in. To see the big smile on that little 6 year olds face was unforgettable!! I replaced the gearing with super low since this was his first bike. I know from experience that these TTR 90's can do close to 50mph on the dry lake with high gears and almost 40mph with the stock gearing.

Always did well with kids bikes. Resale around here is excellent. If taken care of I could get almost what I paid if not more than I paid. We had a pw80 that went through 3 kids. It was an excellent bike. A KX65 that was excellent as well.

I think I read somewhere that he was on a test ride. If not, he obviously didn't ride very often with the bags on.

At one time I had an XR50, TTR90 then moved the boys up to a KX65 and KX100. All the bikes were great. I got caught up in the XR50 modification craze. I dumped over 3K in a wild big bore, manual clutch and insane suspension. Found out the hard way there is only so much you can do on a bike with 10" wheels. The kids were limited to where the bikes could go.

Motorcycle sales seem to be through the roof and you could probably make a heck of a profit right now.

Was at the local Harley BMW shop (District HD) recently and the sales guy was pushing for me to sell him my bike because they had nothing for their used bike line and few Harleys left. Had brunch with Dirt_Dad and he mentioned how motorcycles are selling so well that a couple friends who run two separate dealerships have no stock and can't get new bikes. Then we were at a Triumph dealer when a man and his son came in. The dealer told them he hasn't been able to get kids bikes nd doesn't know anybody else who does either.

My mother in law has been consumed by Alzheimer's for around 10 years. She is currently between a stage 4-5. Right now it's memory and meltdowns. About a year ago all kinds of things got "lost" in the house. First time she lost her purse I had to search the house like cops with a warrant looking for an 8 ball of coke!! It took me hours to find it. It was behind and underneath a piece of furniture. Then the silverware drawer came up empty. I ended up getting silverware out of storage to replace it. Months later I found the silverware stuffed into a pan way back at the bottom of cabinet. The last time she lost her purse it has disappeared completely. I have been over every single corner of the house and trashcans looking for it. Her favorite blanket disappears and reappears magically every week or two. We have to be on top of the mail when it comes or she will take and lose it.

Now it's the keys to her car she is on. Every week "where are my keys to my car" over and over. I have the keys hid. She is deathly afraid of spiders and snakes. I already tested this snake next to her and it works!! So now I have the keys locked up in the top drawer of my tool chest. The key to open the drawer is in a container on top of the chest with the "snake" always laying on top. I have the drawer marked in German as well.

This is sad but at the same time, you that understand Alzheimer's can get a chuckle out of this:

The new motorcycle dealers around Wisconsin seem to have a fairly decent supply of new bikes. I noticed that there have been very few new listings on Craigslist every day by private sellers. There are plenty of used Harleys around though.
