I have a buddy that pulls a folding camper made for bikes, but not that large. TJM is right, go isn't the problem sometimes, but whoa could be. As long as he has electric brakes, he should be good though.

I DON'T see any drums or disc behind the trailer wheels.... This looks to be a "pull only" and no brakes.......... YIKES

He might hook up his boat to the trailer receiver hitch, maybe that has the brakes..... LOL

The other thing . . . . it's a Harley. Not known for overwhelming power to start with. And if you're right about no brakes . . . . yikes indeed. I think a 'Wing would be a better choice of tow vehicle.

Have you ridden a new Harley with the Milwaukee 8?

Super nice ! That looks like a 52-54... That SURE would be fun ! WOOT-WOOT ! Competitive Cyclist had an add the other day for a bike like this or very similar, it was a "low" - "on sale" $14,999.00

I would really like to have a new Mt Bike. A year ago I did my homework and found what I thought I wanted and started looking. Until I found that it was $10-$12 K bucks. Never mind ! LOL

ya, that bike is $12k+ tax plus it was meant for aero and stiffness. My current whip, about $6k in the hole and the pro gravel model is $12k20220626_155230.jpg

This guy is hauling this to Sturgis. I thought it looked really big and evidently everyone one the comments on FB thought so too.... The older gentleman got on FB and answered many questions and said it worked just fine, pulled fine, ETC.... I just thought it was interesting what some folks are doing out there !

I explored with increasing weights and found that there are limits to what the brakes can handle. It wasn't the brakes themselves, it was at what point they went into anti-skid.
The kayak experiment worked surprisingly well UNTIL passing trucks or getting big cross winds and then the tail could start influencing the bike.

With the MiniMate I find I can still have decent braking if limiting the total trailer to less than 325-350 lbs.
