I really enjoy looking at pictures, so I better contribute:).
From a 5 days trip to southern Sweden, in total 1800 km.
I know, not much compared to you guys:oops:

This trail turned out to be a dead end:

The trip as it turned out to be, not quit as planed, trying to awoid the rain. But it was a fine trip anyway.
In Gislaved, the GPS was set to "go home"...fast... :(Udklip.JPG

Loved the picture of the canal lock. We don't have any of those where I live...
:) Then we must have a bit more.
Getting in the canal lock:P1020003.JPG

Letting water out of the canal lock. Didn't take time for letting water out, but a lot af water in a short time. (maybe 3-4 min.)

And boat lowered down, nice and easy: (might not be all the way down on this picture)

You and your wife need to get passports and learn to rent! See:
The west coast of Norway.
The Pico de Europe area of Spain.
The Alps, Dolomites, and Pyrenee mountains.
Ireland.
South Africa.
The list goes on and on.
