Quick review of my SW-Motech tank bag...it's from their "Quick-Lock Evo" line. Mine is the "City", which is the perfect size for my needs. The angle of the bag fits the Tenere tank very well, I think. The bottom and entire bag is semi-rigid, so it holds it's shape well, and the top is expandable, if needed. The attachment system is awesome...you buy a bike-specific tank ring adapter separately (about $45 from Revzilla), and easily mount it to the tank ring with supplied (longer) bolts. Then, the bag snaps straight down onto the adapter. It's a solid mounting system, and to remove it, all you need to do is pull the front cable maybe 1/4" (which is obviously necessary to gas up, etc. The bag itself was $209 from Revzilla...the City is 11-15 liters in capacity, but there are a number of other models available. You do have to drill 4 holes through the bottom of the bag to mount the attachment base, but it's no big deal. They include a plastic template and even the drill bit for the task. As you can see from the pic, there's a range of placement for the base...I originally mounted it further forward but drilled a second set of holes to mount it all the way back to allow more room to get to the detach cable after installing the Helibar risers. I would recommend, for the City bag on the Tenere, to just mount the base all the way forward to start with, whether you have bar risers or not. The process is super easy. I did a lot of research on different tank bag options before buying, and I couldn't be happier with the SW-Motech setup.

I have the same bag and has served me well for past couple of years. I would advise putting a light film of lubricant or beeswax type on the mechanism or those clips that fasten to the tank ring. Same with the top zipper. It's a sturdy zipper but can get stuck.

I use a Givi tankbag mounted with a tank ring but my tank ring looks a lot different than yours, mine uses a button that needs to be pressed with my finger to release the bag, it works very nice
