For sale is my Super Tenere, a 2017 bike I've owned for almost a year.
Registered 1/5/17 as a demo by Dudley Motorcycle Centre, the local Yamaha dealer, serviced by them when I bought it at 5000 miles.
Current mileage just under 10800.
I am in Dudley, West Midlands for viewings, and I will travel reasonable distances to let potential buyers have a look.
Test rides- full payment of the asking price up front (refundable if you don't want it) and proof of insurance- sorry but thats the way of the world today unfortunately.
Why am I selling- I've decided to replace this and my K1200LT with sports/tourer that my wife can her little legs up on to!
Just had its 2yr/12k service today.
Both tyres brand new yesterday.

It is the base model bike, so no fancy electronic suspension adjustments, but as standard it comes with:
2 throttle modes, Sport for a sharp response to rider input, Tour softens things up a little.
2 traction control modes plus the ability to switch it off for off-roading etc.
ABS
12v charging socket next to the clocks
Cruise control

In addition, it has the following extras:
Full 3 box Kappa luggage system.
Kappa tank-ring and tank bag to go with it.
R&G heated grips.
Centre stand

Its a lovely bike in excellent condition, every bit as good as you'd expect for a 2 year old bike. It only went out on dry days through the winter so the salt hasn't been able to get at it. There is a small mark on the tank from a jacket zip, a tank protector would hide it but I don't want to be seen as trying to hide it. Everything works as it should
Please note: The photos were taken before the new tyres went on. The satnav bracket has been taken off.

And the asking price....a not unreasonable £8290. PM on this site or call me on 07757 756116

OK, so is this overpriced? I'd welcome any feedback.

AND to get it priced under £8k, I'd be willing to remove the luggage system and let it go for around £7700 ono.

Have you tried www.ukgser.com, to pick up a more UK based audience? They carry an active 'for sale' & Yamaha section albeit primarily GS.

Often best to split & sell the luggage separately, even if you leave the mount on the bike.

GLWTS.

Yes mate, it's on ukgser, I've been on that forum for a decade. The technical advice is second to none, as is the many different ways to have the Mickey mercilessly taken from you!
Anyway, taking your advice, bike as it stands is now £8000, or with the luggage system removed £7600.
