Greetings team from Perth, Australia. I'm trying to resolve a matter raised by a mechanic who spent a bit of time troubleshooting an idling issue with my 2010 super tenere - another story. He made the comment that the bike should run at a pretty steady temperature once warmed up. This has not been my experience. I bought the bike with a lot of kms on it and ever since I've had it it runs around 75deg C on the open road - until you get slowed down in traffic. With stop start city running, the temperature quickly rises to 105deg C at which point the fans kick in and cools down to 100deg C.
Is this common for this model?
Thanks
