Should the Rally be canceled, kept in April or moved to later, such as September?

I just cancelled a double queen room because one of my buddies going with me cancelled so a room is available. I will still be there with another riding buddy.

If it was me this is the route I would take. Hwy 7 to Jasper...74 to Ponca....43 to 41...21 to Kingston....74 to 23...23 to 12/127...12 to Rogers...New Hope Road to South 26th goes right to Russell Knives. Hobbs State Park on Hwy 12 is a really fun road and runs along Beaver Lake going into Rogers. There is a cut off off Hwy 12 on County Road 88 to New Hope Rd but I always stay on Hwy 12 and go thru old downtown Rogers. I don't recommend going Hwy 412 even though it might be faster, but it's a Divided Hwy and IMO isn't as fun to ride. Hope this helps you.
All good and "must ride" roads to Rogers!

Looks our ride to Arkansas is cancelled due to covid19. This is very disappointing as I attended the 2013 rally and three of us were going to find a way south from Canada to attend the event.
The deal breaker was the fact that the medical travel insurance providers won’t cover any issues related to the virus, now that the provincial and federal governments have announced no out of country travel till further notice. This would include any possible costs incurred if quarantine whether in the US or upon our return to Canada is required.
This is very disappointing as we were really looking forward to attending.
For those that do get to attend the event, enjoy the ride and hopefully we’ll catch up with you at the next one.
I do have a room booked at the marble falls motel and will be cancelling the room.

Would be really sorry to not see any of you Canadians. As of today the event is still ON and other than Saturday dinner, it's an easy event to have some "social distance."
I spoke to Marble Falls Friday and they should get back to me today or tomorrow with prices for the Saturday dinner. I'm planning to give it a week or two before we do a final head count/guess, so we don't wind up paying for a lot of food that will not be eaten. Same for Gunner and ordering shirts.

Maybe the rally for this year ought to have an obviously theme beer.

My, I wonder what beer might be a good choice!? This thing is still more than a month away. a lot can happen between now and then.

i am going to have to cancel. my father in law passed away last week and with the restrictions in place all over due to the virus the memorial service won't be til April 25th. he was a police officer for 25 years then a North Las Vegas judge for 15 so there will a few people there.

Hey I’m hoping to catch the virus, and be well by the Rally. I’ll be busy licking doorknobs for the next few days;) All kidding aside, I’m planning on going.

Be careful Mak10, judging from the people still not washing their hands in the Walmart men's room today, you might catch more than just CV-19!:p

I was going to be travelling with Bernie, but sadly I’m out to. Too many unknowns against travel outside the country at this time.
hope to see you all next year somewhere on the road

Just saw this from the CDC: CDC recommends canceling events with 50 or more people for the next eight weeks throughout US.

I'm still planning on going at this point, and we may be under 50 by the time the event happens anyway. My only concern is the potential to bring something back to my wife, who is more at risk.
