Should the Rally be canceled, kept in April or moved to later, such as September?

I wasn't going to make the Spring rally, but might be in for the fall rally. A lot of dependencies...

What would Yamaha America's potential participation be? They going to bring a few T7's to demo?

They were impressed by our group and were talking about providing some swag.

I sent an email to cancel at the Hub two days ago with no response. So, I called today and talked to a woman
who claimed to be Debbie and told her to cancel my reservation and requested a credit to my credit card. I
am all for a make up date in October if that works out.

Maybe, I can ride my new 700 Tenere!!!!!!!!!!!

the hub has to be dispairing over all things like everyone else , hope somehow they survive financially . add another two weeks to the end of these two weeks most will not , a month without income . and as for individuals if you can't work from home then you also are sunk even with the govment hand out (spelled it that way on purpose )that life jacket will run out the first week . going back to work with some common sense rules , something . for me I have a rainy day fund and my work is considered essential , the wife is retired and we have a modest debt load , we are ok so far . and as of yesterday no new cases in my county (12 was the last count with about one a day for the last 10 days and one recovered .) so maybe here some hope . virus generally do not like heat or sunlight , come on global warming , this is Texas we can stand it.

I sent an email cancelling my room, they only had a one night deposit. I'm okay with letting them keep it, as long as they do not charge me for the other nights. They need that 87 bucks more then I do, I bet. Hell, I am not spending anything much, no restaurants, no gas fill ups, no fun trips to Cycle Gear. Will never see the gov'mt money, but I'm ahead on this deal. As long as I don't get sick. Ya, as long as I don't get sick. That is what is important, right?

I spoke with Debbie last night and she is worried. They just got the business back from the people who were running it down and not making payments. The restaurant had no customers so she had to close it and lay off the staff. The hotel has almost no visitors so she is losing money there too. She's worried about really basic stuff.
Like food, gas, and other basic bills.

I still haven't received my refund....I'm sure they are working on it.
If the world gets straightened out soon I still plan to ride in the area and I hope I can stay at least one night there.

Well let's start working on a new date so those who have reservations/deposit for a room can just apply it to the new date instead of a refund. I'm sure it will help the Hub make it through these tough times. I will send them a deposit for my camping site if it will help them stay above water.

Just got ahold of Debbie. She said she would rather refund my deposit than transfer it to another date. Dates in Sept/October are filling up fast.

Looks like my refund is pending. I hate to do this but I'm now officially laid off. Going to be a long time I'm afraid.
