Super Tenere Rally Arkansas, 2020

Should the Rally be canceled, kept in April or moved to later, such as September?

I'm still planning on being there; but I'll be solo, my wife's plan was to ride over with me and fly home, that longer sounds good to her.

Yamaha Corporate just asked if we are still on. (Yes I asked and they have been willing to support us!) For transparency, below was my response:

Thanks for checking in. At this point, the venue's restaurant is closed, the hotel is open, our Canadian members can't cross the border, and we have a lot of US members canceling. Tentatively we are still on but going to take a head count this weekend to make a decision.

Thanks! On a related note....I went for a ride last week that was planned for 7 days. I took almost all of my food with me (wasn't easy, but doable) and was having a good time until Utah started shaking. My wife called after the first one and asked me to come home, which of course I did. If the quake hadn't happened I would be still on the road and I'm sure, still be having a good time.
My (selfish) point is; with some changes in our normal routine we can still have a good time. Having said that....I appreciate CWs and others hard work to put this shindig on and support whatever is decided.

Well crap guys I was really looking forward to this rally but a family emergency has come up so I can't make it now. Hope another gathering comes up later this year and I can join. Have fun.

Well due to lockdowns and my plane tickets being cancelled for next month I am now back on for the rally. I will be up for joining others and primitive camping wherever in the event that The Hub closes.

As long as my toy hauler can make it, I am in. And since Gunner May attend the Big Ass Cooler will be there.

If anybody dies we can preserve them to the funeral home. OR you supply ice to keep your stuff cold.

So are we BYOFood for evening meals at this point? It's not a deal breaker, but changes the packing process if I'm bringing cooking bits and some food stuff.

I'm honestly still in wait and see mode, but would like to go if it doesn't freak out the wife too much at the time.

@Fennellg - its surprisingly hard to burn a body, but it's the damn bones and teeth that are hard to pack later.
