Super Tenere Rally Arkansas, 2020

His ride reports are the best and he also includes detailed GPS tracks.

I really like the Ozarks / Marble Falls idea so IF I do this, is there anybody who does NOT want to go there? Or knows somewhere else in the area which would be a great venue?

Marble Falls Resort opens March 15 for the season and we're expecting a new family member in May. For you folks who know the area, how early is too early? It's either between those for me or after the heat of July/early August.

This absolutely does not preclude anybody else from organizing something elsewhere. Or being the organizer. And we could do events back to back.

Works for me. About a 7 hour drive. Do they have rv spots or allow long vehicle parking somewhere?

Just sent them an email asking if anyplace near the tent spots for a toy hauler. Nothing I need but 110 extension cord power would be nice.

Depending on the date I'm in. Wifey and I ride to Alaska in May, the Cache Rally is June 18-21 other than that I'm fairly open.

I’ve been to Arkansas about twice every year since 2001, lots of great riding that’s for sure ! March seems a little to early but I’ve ridden Down there a few times in March , but it has taken a few extra days to ride back home a few times, but now that I’m retired that really isn’t such a big deal.

I've heard enough good things about Arkansas that I know I'd like to go, and certainly want to catch up with everyone.

For me, it will come down to timing. I expect my 2nd half of August to be gone. The farther away from August an event gets scheduled the more likely I can make it.

I ridden in Arkansas twice and driven a flatbed there once.....the riding was a LOT more fun! The Pig Trail road (I think that is what it is called...) is incredible and not very far from the Marble Falls area.
I'm hoping the dates match up so I can go there again!

may will work , can be a little cool in march ... that being said , some one just has to pick a date , if checks wrecks decides to organize this he should pick the dates . too early in march may cause issues for our northern snow bound friends .
