I had such a great time, at the 2019 rally. Just wondering if there is any interest in having an informal get together in 2020?

Thoughts?

A few places as a suggestion:

Pacific Northwest -Vancouver, San Juan islands

Redwoods, California coast

Big Bend Texas,

Badlands, Mt Rushmore

Moab,

Glacier National Park

Maybe someone can create a poll.

Redwoods are great.

Though personally, some of the best riding I've found is in eastern Oregon. Variety, on and off road loops, mostly reasonable (or low) traffic... And some big empty spaces

And some amazing twisties

And there's dirt & stuff and scenery too ;)

This is kids like a state trying to get Amazon to open a hub in their state. :)

Or a congressman trying to get some Pork Legislation.

I'm always up for it anywhere but can't plan that far ahead.
I'm thinking of riding to Death Valley this winter if I can find a good stretch of weather.

If you make it that far, consider swinging by Arizona.

Wish you guys weren't 1500+ miles from home (NY)......I'd have to burn half of my vacation time just to ride out and back. :(

Any East-coasters up for something on this side of the Mississippi?
I think that somewhere, you're always going to be too far from folks. Having things in the East & West is a good idea, but now you've got to find 2 folks who're willing to put the work in...

You have shitty vacation time! ;) It's only 2 days from one end of the country to the other. Interstate travel is amazing.

Northern Arkansas has a lot to offer. So does Eastern OR or Western PacNorWet too. Coast, Mountains, High desert all within reach.

Not a fan of interstate travel, you miss too much of America running the slab. Call me stubborn.....

A few more years and I can retire and join you guys wherever, whenever.

A means to an end. Get to someplace new so you can explore more.

As a retired guy, I did plenty of slab to get to new places. Now I can usually take more time, but when you need to cover ground, the slab does the job. 3200 miles in three days to get to an airport to fly 3k miles to vaca. You do what you gotta do.
