So I read this entire post and most of the links are now no good. I think the new "mini" h7 led lights will fit without a different rear cover. I ordered these, they arrive same day so I will report back soon. I try never to ride at night, so much so, that I got stuck out late the other night and didn't even know both bulbs were out..

I also grabbed these for the little corner light

I will report back.

So the bulbs fit fine under stock cover. Brite as hell. But 1 failed on day 2. The center section is loose from the H7 frame and it doesn't work anymore. You do need to rotate bulb assembly the be lateral and not vertical in the instructions. The build quality seemed weak and I was right. 2 days and it was broke.

I'm not sure how to do the corner lights though. I need to replace "Stay 1" anyways so eventually it all will come apart.

update

i installed the lights and 1 of them failed the first day. i rode a 100 miles or so of dirt that day but it was not super rough. i reached out to the company and after a few days of back and forth about who to do the return with the company finally took care of it. i had to send a pic of the light after i destroyed it and they sent me a new pair. so now i have a spare.

the failure came with the center bulb portion breaking loose from the rest of the H7 fixture.

again they fit with stock caps in place easily. they are much brighter than stock. ill chime back in for a longevity update.

Any more suggestions of a more modern look light for the ST, i reakky wanted to try LED, but i'm affraid that light beam is too high
The light beam is not high in a magnifying projector… the low beam is like a razor cut, the high beam is a full circle, no hot spot, in high beam, light the same way everywhere, inclusive up
The important thing is to regulate the low beam well, as far as possible (before dazzling)….and as wide as possible (before a dark spot appears in the center)…..then, the high beam will be a complete circle . The only bad thing I see in this lighting system is that at night, traveling with high beam, the beam of light illuminates very close to the motorcycle (it is the part of the low beam), this causes eye fatigue due to the reflection of light on the ground (more fatigue causes if there are reflective demarcation lines)….I preferred the old system of the H4 where when you turned on the high beam, the low beam turned off, and the beam of high beam began to illuminate 30/40 meters in front of you, in front of the motorcycle, there were 20 meters of darkness, which did not cause eye fatigue
From factory, the S10 ligths, come regulated, very low, and very closed…

It's comical going back through old LED light thread at how crazy bright modern LEDs are compared to what was available just a few years ago. I put X-Apollo LEDs from X-7Seven in my wife's car last year. I shit you not; they are so bright you cannot tell when you turn on your high beams. Super high quality, and the company is very responsive if you have questions or issues.

I'm still on the fence about what path I will take with my Super Tenere. When I got it, I dropped in new Hella H7 bulbs, but I still lean toward HIDs over LEDs.
